PR-Design acted as client's representative for the London based Hotel Corporation of Edinburgh, operating as their eyes and ears on the fit out of this luxury Urban Spa and developing an in-depth knowledge of Spa design and procurement.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Design Team to achieve a high quality fit-out within a restricted time frame, duties included representing the client at Project Team Meetings, solving architectural problems on site, obtaining statutory consents, recording progress on site and maintaining communications with all parties.
On completion of the Spa Fit-Out we acted on the client's behalf in negotiations with the Receivers (Main Contractor having gone into receivership) and worked with the client's lawyers on legal issues.
